I found a "interesting" security feature......

So, I was using a BlackBerry DTEK50 for the past week and a half and just picked up my Note 7 this morning.

I spent several hours with the Note 7 setting everything up then came time to pop in my SIM so I take the SIM and SD card out of the DTEK and put it into the Note......I get a quick pop up msg saying the SIM is not recognized (was so quick I'm not sure exactly what it said) and then boom the device wiped itself.

:( :( :( :( :(

I had the SD card set as Adoptable Storage in the DTEK so I guess when I put it into this the Note 7 thought it was corrupt or something and wiped? Now I have 45 minutes before I go out for the night and re-configure this thing...woof.

I believe that's a security feature. When you have an SD card that's formatted for adoptable storage, you can't use it without wiping it. That's why that happened.

Well it sucked lol I assumed it would just ask me to reformat when I inserted....... Nope!

3 more hours later, setup again lol
