I get this popup on my home screen mentioning Active type, Mobile Type and Wifi type. What is this ?

[AC Question]

I have a picture of this grey popup, and would like to post it, or I can send it..

Basically its a grey box that says :

Active Type : MOBILE, Work: YES
Mobile Type : MOBILE, Work: YES
Wifi Type : WIFI, Work: YES

and it repeats over and over every 10 mins or so. What is this, and how do I turn it off ?

Same issue here. Just started happening recently. I thought maybe it was a particular app causing it - my hunch so far is Madden. If anyone figures it out, please post a response. I will do the same.

I have a stock Galaxy S6 Edge. I think I'm on 5.2, have to double check. No recent OS updates.

I have dlink. Did you Uninstall it? This pop up is so annoying!

Yup. I Uninstalled dlink and the problem stopped. Unbelievable. That app developer needs to get his stuff together

You're a legend Xeon1!!! I can't beleive I did a factory reset for this, I thought it was me as I had been playing around with the Developer Mode options. I uninstalled the "mydlink Baby Camera Monitor" app and the issue is resolved, the overlay notification is gone! I still have the "mydlink Lite" app installed which does pretty much the same thing and this one does not cause that issue.

I had created another thread at xda-developers for this before I found the answer here.

I don't think so. Try using the "mydlink Lite" app instead of the "mydlink Baby Camera Monitor". That fixed it for me.
