So I was playing around with Nova Launcher and loaded up the "Activities" widget and scrolled through the list. Came across the Icon for "smart settings" which is disabled by default on the Verizon V20. I tapped on the icon and it installed a shortcut on my homescreen. Tapping on the shortcut opens up Smart Settings and allows me to turn on and off several different location based settings.

My choices are:

At Home

Away From Home

When Earphones are Plugged In

When Bluetooth Device is Connected.

Pretty neat as I am currently using IFTT to do a lot of that for me.

... now if only I can figure out how to get the FM radio to work...

But it wont actually recognize home will it?

Just realized that...

It will give me the choice to set my home location but won't go any further. It does say that "Home location will automatically be set after 5 days". I'm guessing that won't happen.. eh.

I just did a forum search and found out there has been lots of discussion about this and apparently there is no way to get the home location working in Smart Settings on the Verizon version.

Oh well... thought I stumbled upon something.

Disabled because it's trash.

Do yourself the favor and just download MacroDroid or a similar app. I've always disabled Smart Settings on my T-Mobile G3 and G4 because it's useless in comparison.

LG Smart Settings is more half assed than QSlide.
