I got to mess around with the Evo 4G LTE today.

Just wanted to mention a few things about the phone after seeing it in person.

I thought it looked goofy from the pictures on the internet, but after seeing it in person the phone is a sexy beast. So unless you have held the phone in your hand, please refrain from saying it looks ugly. The phone is extremely thin and so light when I slid it into my pocket it felt like a pack of gum.

The kickstand did not support the phone both ways, maybe because it was just a demo phone. The screen is stunning and I tried the best I could to slow the phone down but I saw no lag at all while navigating around the phone.

I was going to get the phone day one because of the specs, but now I cant wait to get it based on the looks and feel. I have always been a no case kind of guy and this phone will carry on that tradion and look sexy while doing it.

Dont judge a chick from pictures on her Facebook account, same goes for this phone wait to see it in person before you claim it is ugly.

The kickstand is supposed to be spring loaded, a la the Moto Photon, which is why it's supposed to go both ways. Was your demo model not spring loaded, or could you even tell?

I read somewhere else where someone also got to check out a demo unit and they also mentioned the kickstand didn't have the spring. Probably just something limited to the batch of demo devices.

It didn't have one as soon as I put it upside down, it collapsed. Not a big deal to me maybe when they release the retail version it will be spring loaded.

Hopefully they wouldn't show off this feature at launch only to have it not even work.

See! Told ya it was pretty good. :)

Dunno what to tell you about the kickstand, though. It plopped up both ways just fine for me.

Nice pic, and can't wait to get my hands on this phone.

Quick question, where is the speaker phone located, or the grill for it?

No removable battery is a deal breaker for me... sorry HTC - and I loved the OG Evo 4G so much...

Have fun hanging out with Samsung, I have never been a fan of their phones.

Too bad nothing has been announced as too how long the battery last, and I like the non removable battery the phone has no seams I am perfectly happy.
