If you want that, get the Note. For me that's just too big. 5.5" was what I was waiting for for a while. I'm super psyched.

I can't believe that they ditch the IR blaster yet again. Happened years ago when we moved away from Windows Mobile and it has happened again. Every piece of audio/video gear I own has IR. I had a fabulous app that I used with my Note 3, 4 and S6.

I feel you. This is the reason why I didn't get rid of (trade in) my s6 edge. Unlike some people, I actually use the IR blaster.

Yo chaps, I work for Samsung. I can confirm that official device specifications that I have been provided with includes OIS for both S7 and S7 edge.

Where did you hear the S7 wouldn't have it?

Since you work for Samsung, can you tell me if the finger scanner has improvements (is it more accurate)? Thanks

Any 6+ or 6s+ users thinking of jumping over for an edge?

I didn't know. I really like the edge but I have so much Apple gear (Apple Watch, 2 x iPads, Apple TV, MacBook Air).

I could get the edge and keep my iPhone 6S plus but then I wondered how much usage I'd get from 2 phones. I also wonder how good the edge battery will be in comparison to the 6S plus.

How is the audio quality (music) on S7 and S7 Edge? Is it the same as S6/Note 5 or better? Does it have UHQ support that is in S6 and Note 5?

I have not been told about any improvements and unfortunately couldn't test the fingerprint scanner during my briefs hands on.

Always On Display only works with Samsung apps so it is pretty useless.

I bought a 128 gig sd card and it worked fine for 2 weeks. Then all of a sudden today my s7 edge is not reading it anymore. When I go to storage I can't even see it listed. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
