I hate sending pics as a slideshow when I text

Is there a way to change the default from a slideshow to just a picture when I send a pic in a text? I hate the way every pic I send out or receive is a slideshow even if it is single pic. It even receives v cards sent in a text as a slideshow.

I know, it's a major pain in the arse.

The only "solution" I've found is to send the attached picture alone with absolutely no text, and then send your text in it's own SMS.

This causes it to open as a gallery photo instead of the annoying 5 second video clip thingy that is full of fail.

Even with no text in the body it sends a slide show.How can I stop receiving MMS attachments as a slide show?
