i hate the samsung s9 pie update!! how can i get my settings back?

the update is horrible!! you can't swipe to text anymore. text messages background white with an ugly teal color and cant be changed. horrible battery life. cant turn off bixby which is privacy invasive. clock permanently in upper left notification bar. settings icons are cartoonish. this was not an upgrade but a downgrade.
 
You can flash Oreo, but that's an "out of the box" flash, there's no "downgrade" file, so you'll have to back everything up first. And you'll have to root and disable the OTA update app, or it will just update to Pie again.

I agree - HATE the update.
If you havent already found it,
downloading Sansung's Good Lock will at least let you fix the clock and recent apps.

Or download package disabler in play store , but that option might not be available to downgrade any more if they on June or may bootloader
 
I just covered the lens and took a fast, low ISO shot of darkness (in a totally ark closet) to have a solid black "wallpaper".
