There are some software updates available, but I don't know if I can do them without doing them in date order, if you understand what I mean - that is, installig first an older version, then a newer version, then the next newer version, etc. Also I don't know how to make sure they w/b compatible with my carrier, altho the tablet is not used as a telephone.

Do you mean an automatic refresh when new posts arrive? If so, that's how it works. What are you using to access the forums, browser or any of the apps?
