My phone for some reason automatically installed android 5.1. My what's app application and all my contacts were deleted. All my pictures are gone. How can I get them back?

So I've been trying to watch videos from Dailymotion embedded into a site. When the video starts playing I click the fullscreen button on the bottom right and it doesn't go full screen. The button glows so I know it's registering my touch, but it doesn't go fullscreen at all. I can rewind/forward and I can pause/play but I can't go fullscreen. I'm on Android 5.0 (not the latest one) if that helps. Any ideas?

My Nexus 4 discharges completely less than an hour after I plugged it into the wall (around 10:40 this morning) and the phone gets to almost 53C - see the following screenshot:



Anyone knows what happens? No strange apps running and the charger is original (comes with the phone) - it is as if the power outlet is sucking up my charge! I'm worried this may be a sign that the battery is dying.. any thoughts? This is the second time it happens in less than a month. I managed to resume normal charging by pulling everything out, cleaning the connections a bit (they aren't dirty) and reconnecting. Now I've 4% charge. :'(
