I have a Nexus 5x but cannot get the Quick Launch Camera to work. Any help?

I have a Nexus 5x but cannot get the Quick Launch Camera to work.

I have the correct setting on in "display", but pressing the power button does nothing. Can someone please help?

Open the settings go to display Make sure to mark these two options. Press power button twice for camera and Double twist for camera.
You can now bypass the lock screen and quickly launch the camera by either tapping the power button or twisting your wrist.

I used to think it didn't work properly. Turns out, however, that I have slow right thumb. If I double-tap using my (quicker) left index finger, the camera fires up every time.
