I have a s9+ and now when cell calls it shows number with +1

I never had this problem for the past 20 years. I have a phone book of, close to, 400 callers and numbers. Until a week ago it would show me the name of the incoming caller before I answer. Now any land line numbers that call it shows their phone number with "+1" in front of it. Even if they are in my phone book. Cell numbers that call will show the callers name. Seems to be on land line numbers. It never did this before. Now I do not know who is calling, only their phone number is displayed with the "+1" in front. I do not want to have change 400+ phone numbers to have a +1.

The last update to the phones system was in mid December 2018.

How can this be fixed without editing 400+ called ID's???
