I have a Samsung galaxy S3 I can't sync my google account and I can't get google play store to work

My time and date are accurate. I have cleared google data. I have removed my google account. I have set up a new account and still get message can't connect to google sever. I have reset my phone. I have turned airplane mode off and on. Still can't connect.

Welcome to Android Central! This issue comes up with some regularity, and can be difficult to solve. Does this happen on both wi-fi and mobile data?
