I have about 15 new contacts added to my mobile and I did not add them where did they come from

I've got about 50 new entries of contacts on my phone I did not put them there they just appeared from nowhere I don't know what's going on you can't ring any of the numbers. It says invalid number

Welcome to Android Central! Which phone? Can you tell which account those contacts are saved to? The Phone account, your Google account, or perhaps something else?

Try going to Settings>Accounts and see which accounts are set to sync contacts.
