I have an LG stylo 2 tracfone and it keeps giving me something about android vending

My dad gave me this phone and when he factory reset it and gave it to me, it kept saying: com.android.vending has stopped, com.google.android.music has stopped, google play services has stopped after pressing ok it immeidietly shows up again with all of the same things. I spam ok while trying to setup the phone and then when I click skip wifi setup and go to were it ask for my name, I click next and it doesn't move on to the next step. If I try to use WiFi then it says checking internet and it stays on that for hours and nothing ever changes, no matter what I do the same things pop up saying that they have stopped and am unable to set up the phone.

Try factory reset in recovery once more .

I have factory reset it more than 8 times to try and get it to work, also i'm the one who asked this

Then sounds like the software got corrupt , you can try flashing the firmware and see if that helps. What andriod version its on ?

I have no clue what flashing the firmware is, i also don't know what version it is.

Flashing the firmware means to reinstall the software on the phone again, there usually a pc tool to do this .

I have a personal chromebook would that work? I can download stuff on it.

It should work, but to verify that, you can go to XDA website find the tutorials on the this .

Do i need to download something before going into download mode because when i try to go into download mode, it does nothing

Im more familiar with Samsung for this , but in download mode you should have your phone plugged to the computer and the LG tool should show the device is connected, then you put the firmware in the tool to download to the phone

I am at stage 6, I cant find the thing where it says software download

nope, when I go to free checks, it shows for the green one: LG SN& Carrier$ country check, it doesnt say what it says on the website that has the steps

Try another site or lg own site with tool and instructions, that might be outdated
