I have an Samsung Active 2. When I delete a message on my watch, it deletes on my phone as well.

When text messages are deleted from my watch they also delete from my phone. There is not space on my watch to leave all the messages, and deleting them all off of my phone is not an option either. When I realized this was happening, I called customer service and was told there was an update coming in the fall that would resolve this. Has that happened? I tried to call customer service last week, the rep did not understand what I was asking and recommended that I send my watch in for service and they would repair it. It seems unlikely that they would write a software routine just for me....seems unlikely. Lol. Does anyone have any update on this? Thank you
