Hello, I have bought Xperia Z2 and I want to ask some questions. It already has Android 5.1.

It came with a white wristband that has some interesting features. It can count my steps and vibrates when I have a phone call. However, I am not using it. There is an app called Lifelog, but I do not want to use it because it requires an account and it is a useless stupid idea.

I think I want to put root into the phone or install a custom rom. The root is good because I can use Xprivacy in order to disable permissions of audacious apps. Furthermore, the phone came with lots of bloatware installed. I disabled some useless apps, but I cannot disable What is new, which has ads. I do not know how to choose a good custom rom.

I had problems with custom roms in other devices. I did not succeed in restoring the original rom. Some of the bloatware improves the device. I tested a clean Android version and it lacks many things. The image quality in other camera apps is terrible. The UI in Samsung and Sony devices is much better. I need some Google apps, such as Gmail and Hangouts. I do not like useless apps, because they use memory, network and battery. However, I do not want to be unable to use good features that came with the device.

Thank you.

There are implicit questions if you have anything to comment. :D

The first question is about the wristband. Does anyone use it? Do you like it?
The second question is about root or custom rom. I need help to decide if I will use root or install a custom rom or do nothing. The reasons were informed above.
