I have enough space why cant i use it ?

I have so much space on my phone but i cant use it.

I have 1.58 Gb of free space on my phone storage but the system wont allow me to use it. Its says only 213 mb for applications only yet, if i try to install most apps it says 'insufficient space'

The total size of my internal storage is 8gb.

How can i solve this problem ?

My guess is the phone has a specific apps partition, which I've seen before. If that's the case, there's little you can do about it.

With only 8 GB total storage, your options will be quite limited anyway. In today's world, that just isn't much room to work with because apps are always getting bigger. You may want to seriously consider upgrading to a phone with more space.

Your phone will have designated amount of storage for different things. This will include the system files, media, apps, etc. So, depending on the space allocation for different sections, you will get such a notification.

There are 2 solutions as I see.
1. Clear media data, temp files and app caches, a phone will get some free space.
2. Very experienced users change their partition sizes. It's a very difficult way and I dunno if it's possible for your phone.
