I have GO Security on my Galaxy S6 and can't close it

[AC Question]

I like the app but currently it has been on "cooling down CPU 2/6 for the last four hours. I tried to turn off my phone but I can't by pushing the power button and can't cancel it either - I cannot get to any menus or tools while this is running. Currently trying to let my battery drain so the phone will turn off and hopefully stop the app. I know they had an upgrade on 3/18 so not sure if that has anything to do with it or not but my phone is a brick right now.

boot into safe mode if you managed to turn off the phone.

keep the power button pressed until you see the phone reboot
