What's that nice bump in the top right corner of the backside?
that doesnt make any sense
its limited in the sense that they will throttle your speed if you use too much, but that's still "unlimited" amount
I think he meant "unlimited data for a limited time". It's unlimited data, with no throttling (that we know of).
half right ... it is at a register ( since well it is paid for ) but no i didn't pre-order it. it can't be activated until tomorrow as the system won't let it push but the phone is paid for ( off contract ) and mines.
either way it's better than wondering when it will come outbeen waiting for this phone forever.
was just in good fun. trying my hand at that cell phone forensics thing, jk
that's awesome you already got to handle your TB.
edit: "Fair warning -- if you expose the OP's location, you'll be banned."--wasn't really going to look into geotagging. if you'd like to delete my posts, feel freewasn't meaning to be any bit invasive--though i realize i was. apologies
Nope. OP gave freely what you saw
Just warning ya before you posted it. We love pictures, and don't want to scare anyone off, so we can't allow that sort of "exposure", and I just threw it out there.
In fact, I'd love it if you paraphrased exactly what you did, and explained geotagging (and how to disable it) in depth for a sticky in the AC-Meta area for situations like these.
Well I just went in and turned that off.in short--just ensure that on your iPhone you have disabled the Geotagging Feature---and also on any Android phone (TB) that you use for pictures
android phone: (camera>settings>geo-tag photos OFF)
otherwise, your cellphone will automatically embed (non-visually) your coordinates into your photos for use on services like Picasa & Google Maps or anywhere you post them (like this forum)----and then anyone can view the photos & can download those photos to extract the hidden coordinates via plug-ins on Firefox or InternetExplorer (i won't list the plug-ins in case you haven't edited those photos with the removal of any geotags) to show where they were taken & then find out where you are/were @ any particular time.
for info, search "Geotag hidden in cell phone pics" on google. you'll find one interesting site that allows such tactics to be explained in fuller detail.
for removal: "geo-tag security" is a free downloadable program that can remove metadata from photos.
back to our regularly scheduled programming.
Well I just went in and turned that off.
I turned it on a couple months ago thinking it was cool...now not so muchThx to you and Admin for the heads up.
