I have never had a phone battery this good

The battery life on my 4a 5G continues to outstand me. Over a day and a half since charge, just under 6 hours screen on time and still over 30% left!!! It is amazing!!

That is still great battery. Tip. I do have mine set to LTE and below as there is absolutely NO 5G near me.

Agreed! Battery is awesome on my needs including 5 other family members all on 4a 5Gs. All bought on the same day (bought 5 for myself -me, wife, two boys and mother-in-law and brother-in-law bought 1 for himself)

No complaints in any way whatsoever !!!

I dunno what Google did with this phone but they got it so right with battery this time. The 2xl was decent and lasted most of the day but I am hardly charging my phone and I get over 8 hours sot

Weird but today my battery life started draining. Dunno what caused it. The only app I installed was Day One Journal but it isn't showing on the battery stats. Earlier it used over 40% with just over 3 hours screen on time and in 6 hours. This is half of what it was doing yesterday. I doubt I will get a day's battery at this rate let alone what I have been getting. Dunno why this happens to me with every device I own. The battery goes from great to dire with no warning.

So weird. I will keep an eye on it. Maybe delete Day One Journal and see if that makes a marked difference.

That battery life reminds me of the moto Z series with the battery mod. Charging.. what's that? lol. Also I'm sorry to hear your battery life took a nosedive, that's one of the big reasons I don't like third party apps, especially free ones, they never seem to be that well developed and bring too many weird problems with them :-\

Yeah, Google finally nailed it with the battery on the 4a series and the P5. That was arguably the biggest weakness on their previous models.

Yep I always run my phones with everything I might use left on.... I'm not a power user for the most part, and have never had an issue with running out of battery prematurely. But I've had phones that I knew could strand me if I decided to power use for the day, so it's nice to see Google finally covering that problem. It's VERY nice to know you're covered no matter what happens in your day
