Switch from Garmin to GW8 Classic?

I'm currently using a Garmin forerunner 255 and the only thing I like about it is the battery life. I also like not having a touch screen. While I do like the mip screen especially in daylight, I also like to have a screen that has vibrant colors on it. I previously had the 6 classic a couple of years ago. I'm just unsure if I'll like the new squircle design of the 8 classic.

I'm not a hardcore fan of Garmin either and I'm not someone who takes full advantage of all the workout features on them. But it's nice not to have to worry about battery life on a watch.

What makes it enticing is the $150 trade in credit for my Garmin when getting the 8 classic from Samsung. That's about how much I spent on my Garmin. Maybe a little bit more.

I just switched to Garmin last year and it seems like I keep wanting to switch watches all the time. In the past 2 years I've had the Galaxy watch 6 classic, apple watch 7, Garmin forerunner 165, and forerunner 255.

Maybe I'll look into the Pixel watch. I don't know.

If I do end up getting the Galaxy watch 8 classic, I'm definitely going to buy one on Swappa and sell my Garmin there. There are several 8 classics there for a good price. I'm going to think about it for another day or two and watch some more videos and reviews on it before I pull the trigger. I should only end up paying around $100 in the end. This is a much better option than paying full price from Samsung, even with the trade in value.

I might even consider going back to the 6 classic and buying one used. I'm sure it's just as good. I guess I'm just not sold on the 8 classic design. I've always been a fan of round watches.

Ok, not that anyone is reading this. But I've decided I'm buying the OnePlus watch 3. Best value by far and has the best battery life of any smart watch. I was going to buy it from OP, but there are multiple sellers on eBay selling gently used ones for way less.

Nice it's a good watch though I don't use mine often but definitely crazy battery and looks great on.
