i have offical sprint evo lte training tomorrow. questions?

Thanks for the info about the phone buyback. Didn't realize Sprint did that (eh, I'm only on my first smart phone so was never worth it before).
$60 bucks for my Epic 4g. Though probably need to get another OEM battery, mine went through wash in pockets of some shorts while I had an extended battery in phone. Didn't work after that. :(

Does it do data and voice together on 3G? The LG viper does.

Probably a "yes" (and maybe answered elsewhere) but are they still going to charge us the $10 4G surcharge when there's no LTE anywhere?

I didn't mind paying it for the Wimax, but seems strange that they're probably going to keep charging it to everyone for a currently non-existent service.

You are not paying for wimax. Simply put to keep unlimited on smart phones Sprint charges 10.00 extra. A newer smart phone vs. one made 3 years ago, has the potential to use much more data. HBO GO netflix , pandora etc.....

will i be able to turn of the LTE like i could with the wimaxx on my orginal evo since i know im not in a LTE area

LTE may be off by default. Its like that for the One X on AT&T. There's a on/off switch for it.

for the galaxy nexus, you can turn on and off under setting for lte. i am guessing it will be more like that.

Not sure if it's too late for questions, but I have another. Thanks by the way for answering my first one.

My Photon allows you in the contacts app to set up designated emergency contacts that can be called even if the phone is locked with a pattern or other type of security. My previous Epic only allowed dialing 911 if locked. What does the Evo LTE allow you to do when the screen is locked?

Will it work with a class 10 micro sd ? 32 or 64gb?

Thanks for all your answers!

@silversentra1999 - Did you happen to get a look at what version of Android it was running? And did they get into the HD voice aspect at all?

The last Queston, if it comes out in may, will they allow people who are eligible to upgrade the first week in June to upgrade early without having to wait a couple of Weeks?
Check your account. Even though I bought my phone June 24 it listed April 27 as my upgrade date.

hope I don't cause a riot, but were there any questions answered that weren't already answered on the web or from other sources???? or is it that we already know all the answers to our questions???? I'm crazy excited over this phone, especially after playing with the one x today. I honestly have never experienced a better cam experience on a phone. I'm no pro shooter or anything, but I was totally blown away by how nice pics came out. the video was super crisp as well. I really can't imagine all the added features of el tevo not making it the best phone of the year, even after the gs3 launches...just my take on it

10. Last but not least: Will Sprint be offering a Evo 3D (and/or Evo 4G) Buyback program like they did last year? If so, How much will they buy back the Evo 3D and the Evo 4G for?

I checked the buyback price on Sprint's website a few days ago for the Evo 4G, and it was $70.

How much would my buyout be if my upgrades supposed to be in march 2013? so i could get the phone...

Give me your cell phone number, your Sprint account number, your PIN and the answers to your security questions and I will dial *2 and ask a Sprint representative for you...and post the answer back here.
