Had this phone for a little over a week now. Bear with me, my situation is kind of complicated.
I've noticed since I got the phone that my WiFi speeds are slow (taking forever to download apps, YouTube buffering), however, it becomes AMAZINGLY fast during early AM hours up until about noon, then it is slow again.
Through further investigation, I found that my WiFi speeds are only slow when downloading apps from the Play Store and when watching YouTube. I can download large files from the internet and through other app stores (like Amazon) fast, just like it should be. For example, I just downloaded Asphalt 7 from the Play Store and it is 1.36GB. Took over 2 hours to finish. Then, I downloaded Modern Combat 3 (it downloads about 800MB of game data through the app interface) and finished that in about 5 minutes.
It appears to be that only speeds through Google apps are slow. Any ideas? It's unexplainable as to why it's doing this.
UPDATE: I exchanged the phone today for a new one and it's still the same issue, so I don't believe it's an issue with the phone itself.
