Will a verizon, sprint, or AT&T gear S work on Tmobile service? I see more those available on craigs than Tmobile.

If you believe this, no.

If you are using an unlocked AT&T or any other gear device on T-Mobile, you need to make sure you are not on a wearable rate plan because those are only for T-Mobile devices and it will create the MM#6 error message. If you want it to work, it has to be opened as a regular voice and data plan.

The TAC ID in the IMEI of T-Mobile's unique version of the Gear is apparently being used to map against qualifying for their "wearables plan." In other words, non-T-Mobile Gears are being blocked even though their 3G bands are correct. They work on T-Mobile, just not on the wearables plan which apparently their reserving for their own Gears. At least that's the way I read it.

Remember a Gear s connects to your cell via blue tooth or call fowarding. To connect via blue tooth any network gear s should work. But to connect via call fowarding you need to be connected to a cell network and have a # for your gear. I imagine that if you have a gear with a different network than your cell it should work but thats crazy. You can get a better deal for your gear if you stay with the same network. I got mine for $99. New!!!. And a $10 monthly fee for the gear network connection with ATT. If this deal is over wait until July 4. For sure they will have another special deal.
