I have two lock screens??

[Android Central Question]

I recently got a Alcatel One Touch Idol from Cricket and long story short it was my only option. I didn't mind it until it started doing this ridiculous thing... I have two lock screens. The first one is just a default background with the generic time, weather, and location info. But it is not the wallpaper I have set it to and worst of all it does not list notification- no texts notifications, call notifications, nada (as a result I did not know I had voicemails or texts from family). I have to swipe to get to the original lock screen to then swipe AGAIN to put in my pin.
I have looked through the entire phone and whenever I open the first screen's settings it just bring me to "pictorial wallpaper" and it doesn't even give me options to change anything. I tried seeing what app I was in but there literally no window open for it. I press to see what apps are open and it shows none.

Do you have the Peel Smart remote app? That is a known issue from that app. Uninstall if you have it

I have the same problem. When people call now it don't show it. I have to slide it twice just to see who is calling me. I don't have the peel smart remote app. At least I can't find it. Where do I look for it?
