I have what i believe to be corrupted video files.

I've been experiencing a problem with my LGG3 and playing videos. Today I recorded 29 videos. After this I moved them from my internal storage to my 32gb micro sd card. Post file transfer the videos were on the sd card and the video thumbnails appeared as grey boxes with a grey alert icon, and when I try to play the videos, the message "Cannot play video:cannot play this content" appears and the video closes. The file types are mp4.
Solutions tried:
-moving the video files back to the internal storage(unsuccessful)
-using a file repair app(unsuccessful)
-uploading to google drive and playing over the web(unsuccessful)
Downloading from google drive and playing on computer(unsuccessful)

Welcome to Android Central! The SD card could be corrupt, defective, or counterfeit. Install SD Insight to see if the card is genuine or counterfeit. Counterfeit cards are programmed to report more storage than they actually have, and if you try saving more than the card can actually hold, then files can start getting corrupt.


If it's a valid card, then go to Settings>Storage, Unmount the card, remove it, and insert it into your computer. Can the computer read these files?
