I heart wireless charging

When wireless charging first came out, I was like 'whut'? Really? HOw much trouble is it to plug a phone up, lazy phonepeoples?
I don't have my Samsung wireless charger yet, but I have some knockoff and I'm VERY surprised at how much I like it.
Just lie the phone on the charger, badabing.
IDk, it's like it has a 'place' now rather than a dangling cord.
I have to take the spigen case off, for it to get a stable charge it seems.
But still, it's nice.
Hopefully, the Sammy charger will not require me taking that case off.
Any new wireless chargers in here? Have you been surprised?

I've had it for a couple of phones now, and I don't know how I could ever go back.

My Note 8 is a couple weeks old, and the only time it's ever been plugged in was when I was setting it up and connected it to old phone.

It's never been charged any way but wirelessly. Even have a wireless cradle in the car.

I just got my charger and SD card and I am super happy with the wireless charger. It is working fine with my Spigen crystal case.

It's one of the things I really missed about my Note 7 when I had to get the Pixel. I have two Spigen wireless chargers and hope to get my Samsung promo charger soon.

I love it as well, especially being a longtime iPhone user. Just being able to drop my phone in the little cradle, and not worry about fumbling with the charger in the dark, or when i'm drowsy, it's great.

I get how convenient it is, but it does not work well for me. I got one with my S7E, but found it just takes up too much room where I place my phone, so returned it. I got another one over a week ago with my N8 as part of the N7 promo, and haven't even opened the box yet. It'd be nice if it were smaller.

How long does it take? MIne will work with the case on and the knock off charger, but takes many hours, many. Take it off and it works quicker.

With the cable, we need two, thus it takes longer, no (even if it is a few seconds)?

I have the Otterbox Commuter on my Note 8 and wireless charge works without removing the case. This is the charger I am talking about;

I have the RapidX magnetic mount on my dash and the metal plate on my car now interferes with wireless charging. Oh well, plug in it is!

Yep. It is more of a convenience thing. For me I put my phone on my desk when I get home each day -- with a pad already being there it just charges. I can grab and go whenever and my phone got to get some juice .

I have a couple charging pads, wasn't interested in them when they first came out but the Verizon I worked at put them at all the desks and it was very convenient so I got one for myself.

I look forward to more furniture and vehicles having the charger built in.

I like wireless charging but it is dreadfully slow on my Note 8, even with the case off. Let's say I got down to 12%, it takes 3+ hours to get to 100% whereas plugging in will be 100% in just over an hour. I am using the Samsung Convertible Wireless Charger.

I agree. HOwever, my Note 8 lasts all day and I just sit it on the charger and bed time and she charges back up while I snore the night away.
