I hope Ultra has a lot of the software features from Motorola X

The X looks like it has some really neat features and gui functions. open mic, twist for cam, the cool camera features and gui, etc.

It'd be nice, but I get the feeling that it won't. My understanding is that the Ultra is the last of the old Moto legacy, while the X is the first of the Google/Motorola era. So all of the innovations you mention are probably limited to the X and future phones, while the Ultra will probably be a mild improvement over the Razr HD with Android 4.2.2 (or possibly 4.3).

Touchless control, active display? Yep. They're on the MOTO X as well as the DROID Mini, DROID Ultra, and DROID Maxx.
