Hellos,
I recently owned an Alcatel Fierce XL. I used it for various things, but the main use for any of my mobile devices is tethering. I used Easy Tether Pro as my tethering hub and Connectify to push out as Wi-Fi. I even used the Dispatch feature for two phones and two hotspots to push out even greater bandwidth (It was truly a time of prosperity). But, I upgraded to a Samsung J7. First, Easy Tether didn't connect (something about the connection type~ the option I needed blocked .adb use). Then, Easy Tether (when I worked around issue #1) said it needed a later version. I update, Easy tether works! Only its pushing through as if I'm still using carriers tethering option .04down- 1.1 up.
Previous phones Alcatel, HTC, the funny one the sounds like "how way" about to try to go back to Alcatel. But if there's another way to get back 12down - 25up
Please!!! I would pay for internet but I'll just research and experiment instead.
My last option is to route. The phone is already oem unlocked, courtesy of the network on any phone you get after 3 months.
Serious advice appreciated.
