I just downloaded the new software update on my P30 and now I can't send sms or mms only receive

[Android Central Question]

I had a software update on my P30 yesterday and after downloading it everything was fine. Again today, I had another software update and since then I can no longer send sms or MMS, only receive them.
Error msg says "not sent. Tap to try again."
I have taken out my SIM card and restarted phone twice, I've uninstalled the and updated the app. Everything shows I am connected to Bell. Someone please help

Welcome to Android Central! Which carrier? Was this an official update pushed over-the-air by Huawei, or did you download the file from some website and install it manually?

Make sure in settings under connection mobile data click on and APN is highlighted on
