I will buy this phone if someone can confirm that's its fast and completely lag and stutter free now. Does the 845 have enough muscle to do this to the Samsung Experience UI? Anyone try it first hand?

Lag free won’t be known until several months after its available. As you probably know virtually every Galaxy model to date lags up and stutters after a couple of months of use. My S8 (no longer have) started within a month. Every Galaxy (starting with the S4) has done that after a couple of months.

My note 8 is lag free. However, like IPhones and Pixels, there will be random stutters. It happens with all phones and all laptops and desktops, no matter the top tier specs. It's just bound to happen with machinery. Lag hasn't been a thing since the era of the s6 and LG g5

Let me know when you find this mythical "lag and stutter free" phone so I can buy a few.

Thanks!

Well if it's as smooth as the pixel or one plus 5t, then I'm good.

It would definitely be a welcome improvement. I have yet to see a Galaxy that ran as well as the equivalent year Nexus/Pixel device. Especially after some time passes.

Sorry I wasn't looking for perfection. Just something smooth after 6 months. I think the 845 and oreo will give us that.

I have yet to find a lag free device, including the iPhone X. If that is your litmus, save some cash, time and trouble and stick with what you have. That said, your apparent litmus is unreasonable IMO.

I have an iPhone X, pixel xl 2 and note 8. The iPhone and pixel are buttery. The note 8 is a little slower but I wouldn’t call it full on lag. Unsure if the s9. I can post back if I get one.
