I just wasn't too charge phone and listen to car radio, why do difficult s8+?

[Android Central Question]

I drive for uber and this it's becoming an issue, radio keeps going off, I've already enabled developer mode and set usb to charge only and it's still doing it. I have no music on my phone and I don't plan in putting any on there. I'm currently sitting here going on am hour trying to find a fix on Google and getting nowhere. Ideally I'd like my phone to remember when I say deny instead of asking me every single time the wire is touched.

Welcome to Android Central! Are you saying that even though you set it to Charge Only, the car stereo assumes you want to listen to music via USB, and won't allow you to switch back to the car radio?
