I keep receiving notifications on my android that my battery will explode.

My phone is a Galaxy S5. Since I have uninstalled anti-virus checks and battery apps monitoring the temperature I have been receivinfg these warnings. Should I re-install these apps or just disregard the warnings? The phone DOES tend to overheat at times. Don't wanna be one of those statistics where it explodes and does some serious harm to myself or others. Please if anyone has any info to help it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks! :)

Probably a spam advertising, but you can log battery temperature using battery monitor widget or similar to see how hot it is getting.

Thanks but I thought it was a setting on the phone itself you were referring to.:-\ :)

So which is the best app u believe for checking the temperature?

Thanks once again! I've kinda heard that but was unsure! How about a good virus scan app? Recommend a good one there?

To be honest, the best anti virus is common sense. By that I mean, not side loading apps and monitoring the ones that you intend to install and check them before updating. At the end of the day, all anti virus apps are retroactive when it comes to new exploits such as Stagefright.

I would err on the side of a light, simple, clean, unobtrusive anti virus, such as , Bitdefender Antivirus Free
