That's a nice photo; kinda looks like a movie scene! And not nearly as comfortable as a traditional Jinrikisha, or,
are those Trishaws the traditional Jinrikishas nowadays?
Have you visited the [Burma Railway?] Memorial, that tragically so many British Soldiers were horrifically forced to build? And/or the River Kwai site? Methinks that must be a tremendously moving experience.
The country and coastlines look interesting and appealing. Perhaps you could post several of your travel photos?
My 'best friend' throughout our school years went on to become a Captain of one of the Navy Seals Teams. I remember that he had some wild sounding nights in Bangkok stories. That is, the ones he could tell me about.
Just the other day, for some unknown reason,
I was remembering a fellow student of mine—in the 6th grade—who was from Thailand, having just moved to America. And wondering, during the memory, where he might have moved on to afterwards, as I don't remember ever seeing him again, throughout our junior and senior high schools.
Don't know why that memory recycled through my mind the other day, but seems my whole lifetime of memories has been doing that—flashing back in my mind—over the last 4~5 months. Perhaps there's a reason . . . ?
