I lost all my contacts I don't think I deleted them

When I lost my contacts I was using the Internet and trying to figure out how to use the Samsung Galaxy 4 tablet application they force downloading to my personal property with nothing I could do to prevent this hijacking

Welcome to Android Central! First, do you know which account your contacts were saved to? Were they associated with your Google account, your Samsung account, or only the local Device account? If they were saved to your Google account, you should be able to see them if you go to contacts.google.com on your computer browser.

What do you mean by a tablet application they force you to download?
