lost data(texts) from quick memo app in LG G3

People, help. I use quick memos a lot for typing texts and already for a third time they vanish from a device. I mean, they are not achieved or even if I type in search, nothing could be found. The problem is that those are really big and important texts. While opening the app I see them in a "queue" but when I tap on one and open, it shows me blank note page. If I exit this note, it just disappears even from a "queue". What the hell is wrong?

Welcome to Android Central! When you're done typing the memo, are you sure to tap a Save or Done button? Or is it supposed to save automatically? Do you know if they're saving to the Internal Storage, or to a microSD card? If the latter, I'd be concerned that the card could be corrupt.

I would suggest using Google Keep for your memos instead of Quick Memo, because Keep will automatically sync your notes to your Google account (it's part of Google Drive). So if something happens to the data on the phone, you'll still have a copy intact in the cloud.

When choosing a app for notes, you first test its backup/restore features. I use a simple, tried and true ColorNote. It backups to your Gmail account. Been using it for 5 years, I think!. Helped a friend transition to new phone; his note app had stop support, and turn off cloud backup. He didn't know. No exported file format would not input into any stock, or Color Note & others so cut and pasted 127 notes into Color Notes. Next think, what it's my backup strategy to everything else important to me on my phone???
