I lost the arrow/tab from my multiview pane, how can I get it back?

I lost the arrow/tab from my multiview pane.

I no longer see the multiview tab on my multiview pane. How do I get it back? I would like to relocate the bar to the other side, but don't know how to do it without the arrow tab.

I can now only locate the multiview bar by holding down the back button.

Any suggestions? I believe this happened after updating to Lollipop, but am not 100% sure.

Have you tried holding down the multi-view tab when it is showing and sliding it to the other side?

There is no tab. It's just the multi-view bar. If I hold anywhere on the bar, it just drags the respective program icon (notes, chrome, whatever) The little half-circle tab that is usually in the center of the multiview pane is completely gone.

I know what you are talking about now, I believe they removed that feature from it and you can no longer move it.

I have the same problem.
Anyone know of any updates available to get it back?
