I would love to have an otterbox case as well. I have been thinking of buying an extra rugged phone for when I go mt biking and hiking, but switching phones on the fly is more of a hassle with Verizon than with my previous GSM carrier. Maybe a rugged case is the answer

Chuck- did you see the rumor that they are probably going to kill the eris by april 1 with the addition of the HTC Incredible.
I am definitely selling now. N1 or Incredible, what do you think.

And for someone wanting to flame me, I love my eris as well, but refuse to get left behind. If the rumors are true (eris is replaced by Incredible)and we are lucky enough to get 2.1, that will be the last update the eris gets period.
