Yep, sure can do that. that doesn't change the fact that my muscle memory tells my index finger to swipe down from the back I'm sure I'll get used to it, just missing it currently.

I know the feeling. Aside from the notification pulldown, I've been using Fingerprint Swipes to gain left/right swipe gestures with it, so its definitely something I would miss.

Can't you just swipe down on the home screen and bring down notifications that way? I heard the with new Pixel 4 launcher you can swipe down from anywhere on the screen (similarly of swiping up from anywhere to bring up the app tray.

these photos look great. Dog photos are exceptionally hard to pull off in portrait mode and those ones look like they were post processed really well. I haven't messed with my camera yet but I'm looking forward to taking some shots when I get home.

Well reviews are the reviewers opinion .. not the gospel .

Exactly. There are no "experts". They are nerds like you and I. They simply do it for a living and have a lot more access to many more phones so they have more experience to judge based on what else is out there. But as for them just liking or not liking a phone in a vacuum, that is just their own opinion. You could do the same thing with a camera and a YouTube account if you wanted to and it would be your opinion too. Enjoy what works best for you and that is all that matters.
