I didn't know what to think other than it sounded very cool. Despite some of the commentary from the Youtube heads about decreased brightness overall all the other things bad about it - I just basically took a wait an see for myself and now that I have - I love it! With it all, the brightness is just a tad lower - which if I recall when I've used them in the past (the ones you stick on), it would make the screen dimmer. But I love the functionality it gives when commuting. I am not bothered by the quality of the picture at all. To my eyes during that moment, I don't notice any degradation of the screen. What I also love is the Maximum privacy protection that it REALLY makes it a very narrow point of view by dimming the screen some more. Your screen is just unrecognizable from a small angle. It's great for those moments you really want to have privacy.

Anyway, it's not a gimmick to me - and it's so far exceeded my expectations despite me having the phone for only a day. lol but, I'm thrilled!

I like they give you options when to use it
I set mine just to try it out for the heck of it and I put Facebook Instagram of course Google messages and then Facebook Messenger just those four but I like how you can keep those saved and just turn it off and on when you want. I only tried it for a minute but my coworker was kind of been behind me looking straight on with me and it wasn't really dark until he moved over to the side. But I think it's cool!

I just had a co-worker asked me to show it to her she thought it was cool she's like oh wow that's dark.

I have privacy display as shortcut to power button when double click which u can turn off or on quickly when needed
Oh that's a good idea. My friend in Chicago her and her husband traded in S21 Ultras for 26 Ultras and they just got them set up today. They've had the phones for a couple days but they went to the T-Mobile store they did everything and they sent back their old phones. She really likes the Privacy Display.

Yes but I like a shortcut in case I want go full privacy for a moment just double press the home button
Do you also have it set up to work for certain apps, notifications, or passwords. I do that and also have the button short cut set up so if I want it on for a reason it's there.

I also thought this would be a gimmick, but it has proved exactly opposite that, the privacy screen is the main reason I haven't gone back to the fold for my main phone yet, but I am guessing that will happen soon. I hope it comes to the fold 8, for me that would be a good upgrade.

I do have it currently set-up like that , I'm sure it will make it to the Fold 8 line up unless the inner screen somehow creates a problem, isn't it just turning certain pixels off ?
