Thanks for all your comments about my ipad vs Tablet choice, they were most helpful.

I went back and forth, and just as I was deciding on the iPad, I bought the Tablet (or at least my boss did) on Wednesday and so far I'm loving my decision.

I have the Sprint model and I love the 'slickness' of it -- it's awfully 'slippery' feeling. I need a cover for it -- none to be found in this little berg, so I guess I'll have to do some online shopping.

Any suggestions?

First quick question -- I've added a couple of apps, but when I go to the app icon it shows 'mine' at the end, is there any way to sort them in with the rest?

Congrats on the tab.

As far as cases goes I went on Ebay and order the Zenus Leather case for mines. It fits nice and snug in it and looks great. Its like this one but, mines is gray and yellow. Zenus Leather Folder Case Samsung Galaxy Tab - Black - eBay (item 130458691969 end time Dec-05-10 04:23:53 PST)

Now concerning your apps the only work around that I know of is to get a new launcher like Launcher Pro or ADW Launcher. Those launchers put your apps in alphabetical order.

But in all seriousness, congrats on your tab purchase. Like Jamal said in regards to the application layout, I do not believe there is an option to "Arrange by" in stock TouchWiz, so a launcher app may be your only solution.

I picked up an M-Edge Trip Kindle cover for my Tab. Fits perfectly!

Most Kindle v2 covers/cases (without hinge) should work , and offer a little more variety since Tab accessories are just getting rolled out.

only way i know is to bring up edit mode and move apps around. not sure about "sorting"

The ability to easily hold it in one hand and read and read to quickly be able to type like I was using my smartphone when necessary is also great. Really convinced that the seven inch size is right one for me.

Best Buy (at least the stores in my area) have a rubberized back cover by Belkin that I bought for my Tab. It really helps with the slickness of the back. Doesn't appear that BB has it on their website though.

Ebay has quite a few case for the tabs now. I picked up a hard cover for a pretty good price, plus it props the tab up so you don't have to hold it. I have an ipad and I really like it, but the android tab is something super and it is only going to get better.

Check other carriers for the cases. My local T-mobile has cases and the rubberized back for the tab. They don't have to know that you bought it from someone else. (or say its a gift!)

my apps were doing the same thing, but I turned it off for about 5 minutes and rebooted it and the app icons now show up in order

BTW I have the ipad and the galaxy tab, I hate apple.. control freaks... they dont tell you when there is a software update, I heard ios 4.2 was out and I had to do some research to figure out how to get it... what I had to do was install the newest version of itunes on my computer, then connect my ipad to the computer and start itunes, then it downloaded and installed 4.2 ..really sucks...also its easy to buy an app by accident...and if you do...you cant get a refund.. apple does not believe in refunds
