I'm new to listening to music on my Droid...or any MP3-type player. I've managed to get most of the music I had purchased from iTunes onto my Droid but I'm not sure how to organize it.

I also need to know how to copy music CD's to the Droid. When I open the CD the songs are just listed as Track 01, Track 02, etc. I've tried twice now to drag and drop those 10 songs to the music folder on the Droid but the don't show up anywhere.

Can someone please point me to any kind of tutorial or directions for downloading and managing music to my Droid?

Thanks,
Dee

Unfortunately, what you want is a two program process. I mean it doesn't have to be, but it isn't that bad. I use iTunes and DoubleTwist to get my music onto my Android Device (natively supported by DoubleTwist). Since I have a Mac, All music is pretty much controlled by itunes first. Anyways, DoubleTwist is a Mac/PC program to use your iTunes songs and put them on the device. If you have a CD you'd like, copy it through itunes first, then update using DoubleTwist again. Album Art transfer gets a little tricky, and there are explanations on here for how to get that on the device (some get transferred, some don't).
