I need an app to do that?

1.) There's not a setting in the phone to silence the ridiculous crickets and harp concert when you turn on your phone? Found the Silent Boot app, but geez, is there no other way around that?

2.) Can't turn off the camera shutter sound without an app?

3.) I know there's a 3 out there somewhere but I haven't had the phone long enough. Also have not rooted the phone - can you change this stuff that way?

Love the Optimus but I don't want to fill it up with a bunch of junk that they should have put in the settings. Curious if anyone else has little annoyances and/or solutions and/or both.

1. Stop rebooting your phone
2. That's illegal in many places.
3. with root, everything is possible, including what you're asking for

Root with z4 permanent then remove the app. Then you can accomplish whatever you want
