I need Help Please

My N1 is stick on X screen and it's not loading any more and there is no hope to work and i made Rest to Factory setting and it's still not working and N1 is not in Egypt & no Service for it some1 tell me how can i download again Android for it or how to solve this Problem Thanx Guys

If you power on the device while pressing the volume-down button, does it get to the bootloader?

If i'm not mistaken, volume down + power boots the device into Recovery Mode.
