I need help with dilemma on choosing a phone

Good advice, but it seems the person in search of the device is really only trying to choose between the s3 and DNA. comes out. They have been offered a trade, 150+ the DNA is a pretty good deal. Id jump on it in a heart beat if the phone were in pristine condition.

Understood where he is coming from and my "suggestion" is neither and to hold off and see what's around the corner. He certainly does not have to follow my suggestion.
Just providing a different point of view.....not putting a gun to anyone's head here.
Getting to be like the Chevy vs Ford forum around here.

I didn't mean it to seem like I was undermining your suggestion. It truly is a good piece of advice.

It didn't seem like you were undermining his suggestion. It definitely didn't come off that way. I'm not sure why he had to add the gun to the head and Chevy vs Ford thing at the end.

Sorry, not meant to offend anyone. Just an observation from many of the recent posts that some care way too much about some arbitrary opinion from faceless posters about which phone is better.
It's clear that way too many people are borderline obsessed with what others say about their phone or brand (hard to dispute this if you just read the threads).
Who cares what anyone thinks about any phone?? Seems to me that people's sensibilities (choices) are threatened when something negative is said about the phone they own,,,just plain silly.

I appreciate unbiased opinions and empirical data; state the facts when questions are asked and leave out the emotion. I think these response would better suit any OP's questions.
Best phone? No such thing with the array of needs and demands per user.
So again, If I offended you have my apologies.

All good mate. No worries

What are the main differences between the one and the DNA? I mean the DNA I already have sense5 on my DNA.

Lol. I had that too. Very nice device. All around. Development sucked at the time. Is it better these days?

Main differences are a slightly larger battery, .2 ghz more ram, slightly smaller screen so a slightly denser pixel arrangement, sense 5, a 3 megapixel camera with "ultra pixels" opposed to the 8 megapixel camera on DNA, front facing speakers, aluminum unibody.

The only thing that I would go for is a larger battery. Other than that and the obvious hardware differences. I see no reason to jump over.

3mp. You mean the front facing camera, right?

The DNA has qi charging ....the one doesn't. The rear cam on the one is 4mp with ultrapixels. Supposed to be a denser camera res. Imho....DNA is well worth the price of anywhere from 49.99 to 150+. I got mine from amazon wireless. 49.99w/2yr contr. I really love it. My DNA has not had any issues. No lag an never froze or hiccuped at all. Hth jec

My bad, 4 mp and no, its rear facing. Its supposed to have the clarity of 13 mp and allow up to 300% more light.

The battery on the one is 2300 and the DNA is 2020.

Both phones have 2 gigs of ram. But the one has the faster processor

I stand corrected again. Lol next time I will look it up before answering from the top of my head. The one is faster due to some new chip though, correct?

Samsung S 3 have more advance features than HTC DNA like

Carrier: AT&T Wireless,Sprint,T-Mobile,U.S. Cellular,Cricket
Sensor: Barometer
Camera Options:Image Stabilization
Interfaces: USB
Memory:
In Removable Memory:
MicroSD,MicroSDHC
This are the missing things in HTC DNA up to my knowledge

I don't think any of those can be considered "more advanced" features. They are just different. Also, the DNA also has image stabilization.

One more thing, carrier options aren't considered features. At least in my opinion.

Anyways, I agree with Sicario666. I don't see a need a jump over to the One from our phone if it was on Verizon.

Indeed, it has the snapdragon 600. Which qualcom Says is supposed to tout a 40% "improvement" over the s4 pro... However, it's unclear if that's in terms of battery consumption or processing speed or what....
