i need the stock email apk

everything else got backed up but that didnt so how do i go about restoreing with stock app remover? or just email it to myself and install it or what? thanks

If you backed up the email app with the SDX Stock App Remover, you can open the app remover and go to Manage Backups>check the box next to the email app>Restore Selected Files. Or if you have the email app on your computer you can put it on your SD card, then use an app like Root Explorer to move it to /system/app.

its Eclair 2.1, its the captivate thats getting RMA back to Att my replacment is on froyo Cognition 2.3 b8 thanks to help from DroidXcom he helped walk me through flashing it i love Froyo

Oh, so it's not the email apk you want, it's the emails inside the apk. Is that right? Also, I don't think the email app from 2.1 will work on 2.2.

How did you reinstall email.apk?

I accidentally deleted mine too.
