All I can say is,
Bring on the Custom ROMS... For now, I can settle with using ROM Toolbox to control the DPI... This is why I bought the Nexus-7 2013..

Yup. I waited to make sure I didn't have any build issues or any other issues. Basically confirmed everything worked. Nfc gps blue tooth. Then did just as you did. I like TWRP I'm running it on my HTC one as well. Right now I'm dual booting htc sense 5 and stock android. On the htc one that is.

I've already returned a 16 Gb unit for this 32 Gb unit and after talking with my local Walmart Electronics Return Guru.. They don't give a **** one way or the other.. They get full credit from the Manufacturer and a new unit for your returned items anyway. All the Google Returns Techs will do anyway is Re-Lock the Bootloader check the unit out and sell it to a discount chain.. I also own a Rooted Galaxy Note and have used TWRP for like a year now.. I could NEVER go back to CWM.. TWRP is much easier to use and much more comprehensive. It's worth the Boot-Unlock & Root just to be able to backup your Nexus-7 image after you have all your apps installed.. And I can just as easily Lock the Bootloader Back and go stock to except the OTA updates.. The Very Best of Both Worlds..

For those with 16 Gb units be warned.. these images take over 1.2 Gb's of your storage away.

Yup. Always always make a backup and transfer to your pc for safe keeping. Make the backup before you flash the supersu zip as well.

I'm sure you already know, but if you don't Scott already has a Deodexed ROM out.. and there is a flashable zip for those of us with Root to get a Real Power Menu that allows Reboots & Booting directly into Recovery..

This is the thread I used [TUTORIAL] AIO Unlock Bootloader, Flash Recovery (TWRP) and Root your Nexus 7 FLO - xda-developers
Though its nothing new you need the recovery img and the su.zip. I had GooManager download, install it and boot into the 2.6 TWRP recovery.

What's needed is instructions for "How to return to stock in case you need to return your tablet without a Factory Image because Qualcomm are being a-holes and are blocking factory images from being posted." I just had to settle for a factory reset and relocking the bootloader so I could return my flaky N7 to Staples. If they try to boot into recovery, they're going to see TWRP. At least at the store they just checked that the power adapter/cord were in there and turned it on to make sure the screen wasn't broken. They just handed me another unit and sent me on my way.

Well FFS, Wug's toolkit said no images were available and I'd seen yesterday the stories about it not being available and the guy quitting AOSP because if Qualcomm's shenanigans. Thanks!
