What are you expecting at I/O this year, and do you think a new version of android is possible? If so do you think it will come to the G2

I would hope so. But I'm not going to hold my breath with LG's reputation with updates.

I hope there is no new version of Android announced. Then there will not be endless threads on how bad LG/Samsung/HTC/Sony/etc and Sprint/VZW/AT&T are with handling updates.

The LG optimus G just got updated to 4.4. I have no faith.

Android L will be released this fall, that means somewhere around that time LG will probably make the announcement if they plan to support it.
