well I might be cancelling it as soon as I ordered it, every article out said it came with the free Sony earbuds worth $279, but the actual listing doesn't say that, so I'm talking to a rep now.

I got a response from Sony:

We care about the experience of the customers with our devices, in response to your request we kindly inform to you that the bundle with Ear Duo was limited quantity while supplies last. We basically sold out on the first day and the bundle listing was pulled down."

I am going to continue to press on, feels like a bait and switch, none of those articles listed it as first come first serve or as a limited supply, it just said pre-order

one of the comments on the Amazon page says the deal is over and i believe it was on the 2nd day of pre-order, so they clearly had hardly any available

So I got an email from Amazon saying my order would arrive on the 1st or 2nd. I switched it to the 31st and it charged me six bucks. I reached out to Amazon chat and they waived the fee, but said it could not be any sooner than the 31st.

Which seems weird to me, it is shipped and sold by Amazon, so you would think they would be able to provide a pre-ordered device on the release date instead of shipping on the release date.

Best Buy was able to deliver the BlackBerry KEY2 on the release date when I pre-ordered. I saw posts on CrackBerry about Amazon shipping later, but I just assumed BlackBerry was the problem.

I mean it is only one more day, but it kind of defeats the idea of pre-ordering, especially if they don't give me the headphones.

I canceled my pre-order, they were not going to give me the headphones and all of Sonys current phones just had a big price drop.

I also have never had a Sony phone. The XA2 Ultra is down to $379, so I think I am going to get that to see if I like how Sony does things.

It does not have B71.

I see conflicting reports on Reddit if VoLTE and WiFi Calling work, not sure what the right answer is
