I put a knock code security lock on my LG Stylo 3 plus and it's telling me that it doesn't match up

I was trying to install the fingerprint lock on my phone and it required a secondary security lock. I chose the knock code and when I was asked to confirm it, it's saying it doesn't match. I haven't let my phone screenlock yet

Choose a PIN or password instead. A knock code depends on timing, and it the phone is looking for more precise timing than you can do, it's not going to work. PINs and passwords just require remembering them (and writing them on a piece of paper and putting it somewhere obscure, like your sock drawer. If it's a PIN, write it as a telephone number, with the first [or last] 4 digits being the PIN, and no one will ever figure out what it is). Unless the fingerprint sensor stops working, though, you'll never need it.
